You can be sitting there, drinking coffee while your life falls down around you, with a smile in your eyes and poems on your teeth. The world is still going to fall apart, but you can decide to see beauty in the destruction.
7-weeks // a reminder to let the bad things happen. The Universe was made from destruction, so let your beauty be molded by the events that you are unable to control in your life. It’s terrifying, but we’ll get through this; you’ll be okay, I promise. (via sundaylatte)
If we fall in love because someone makes us laugh, what happens when we no longer find them funny? If we fall in love because someone is beautiful, what happens when that beauty fades? If we fall in love because someone can provide for us, what happens when they lose their wealth? Because love defies all reasons. When you truly love someone, you can’t just find a reason. You just do.
I guess it’s pretty common at night, when you’re on your own, to miss someone, but what about when it’s 9am and you’re already late and rushing to leave your house and you think about a specific person telling you to chill, or when you hear some good news at 7pm and you wish a specific person was there to share it with you, or when you’re walking home at 4pm and the sun is already setting but despite the beauty of the erupting colours before you, all you can think about is the colour of a specific person’s eyes? Is that common with other people too?
